Strahl Lake Fading Aurora
This photo was taken during the October 10, 2024 geomagnetic solar storm which carried amazing aurora displays as far south as Mexico. Watching the sky go absolutely crazy for about 20 minutes during the peak in activity was life changing, but even watching it slowly fade to an eerie green glow as it died down was captivating.
